Roper Bar Park & Store

Roper Bar Park & Store offers ensuite, non ensuite airconditioned comfortable rooms. For those wanting to camp we have campgrounds with bathrooms and hot showers 2kms from the store.

All rooms have TVs, mini bar fridges, bedding, towels and Airconditioning. There are laundry facilities on site with washing machines and dryers at no extra charge, washing powder is provided. The accommodation includes an outdoor entertainment area with seating, BBQ and a TV. The accommodation offers a communal kitchen with oven, stove, fridge, microwave and all cooking utensils for those guests wishing to cook for themselves. We also have a Bistro for those who would enjoy a prepared dinner.

The Bistro overlooks an escarpment of the natural bush surroundings. The boat ramp and the famous Roper Bar crossing are located a short 2.5kms from the store or 500m from the camping grounds. Roper Bar Park & Store is a six hour drive from Darwin, three hours from Katherine or two hours from Mataranka (180km from Mataranka)
