AAT Kings guided holidays are led throughout by an experienced travel director and driver guide, with all your needs taken care of. Ranging between 4 to 20 days in length, all breakfasts are included, plus up to half of your dinners. These holidays are a great way to make new friends!

Enjoy a tour of tropical Darwin and explore the famous Mindil Beach Sunset Market where you can marvel at the spectacular harbour sunset while enjoying celebratory sparkling wine.
Photograph the magnificent architectural termite mounds at Litchfield National Park and view beautiful Florence Falls before venturing onto Wangi Falls for a relaxing swim in the large crystal-clear pool.
Enjoy a cruise on luscious Katherine Gorge, as it winds its way through Nitmiluk National Park and join aboriginal guides for a walk through the footsteps of our ancestors.
Discover the beauty of Edith Falls with a refreshing swim before heading to World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park – a spectacular escarpment with abundant wildlife, including over 280 species of birds. View ancient aboriginal artwork at Nourlangie and Ubirr dating back some 20,000 years.

Take a safari cruise on the Mary River Wetlands enjoying fantastic views across the vast flood-plains home to the largest concentration of saltwater crocodiles in the world before concluding in Darwin.

Enjoy a relaxing cruise along Katherine River marvelling at the gorges while you spot wildlife and learn about the history and culture of the local Jawoyn people. Take in the natural beauty of World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park where there’s time for a splash in Gunlom Falls (seasonal). Visit Nourlangie, famed for its well-preserved aboriginal rock art, some of which is believed to date back at least 20,000 years.

Travel to Ubirr where you’ll see ancient rock art and discover remarkable views over the surrounding wetlands and escarpments. Overlooking three different habitats, there is a myriad of wildlife to spot including some of the 280 bird species that call Kakadu home.

Explore the Rockhole Billabong with a wonderful wildlife cruise on Rockhole and Corroboree billabongs. You’ll see a myriad of different bird species, spot estuarine crocodiles and simply enjoy the stunning Mary River flood-plains system.

Explore Litchfield and enjoy a relaxing swim at Florence Falls. Marvel at Wangi Falls and hear about its importance in aboriginal custom before we travel across the Finniss River and back into Darwin, where your Kakadu’s Ancient Secrets inspiring journey comes to an end.
