Our next stop is old growth Spinifex habitat , this habitat features species such as Rufous-crowned Emu-wren , Dusky Grasswren and Spinifexbirds . On the return trip to Alice Springs we will venture into some of our Mulga and Coolabah woodland habitat , target species in this area include Splendid Fairy-wren , Crested Bellbird , Bourke’s Parrot and White-browed Treecreeper
Lunch is provided at the Olive Pink Botanical Gardens which is home to many species of birds including resident Western Bowerbirds .
