Couzens Lookout

Natural Attractions

Couzen’s Lookout is positioned within the Mary River region – a wide expanse of national park land an hour’s drive from Darwin that provides visitors with opportunities for wildlife watching, fishing, four-wheel driving, bushwalking and photography.

Secluded camping by the Mary River and memorable sunsets can be found at Couzen’s, as its location within the national park offers an excellent vantage point for magnificent views of the surrounding plains.

The Mary River is an excellent spot to view the Top End’s saltwater crocodiles in their natural habitat, so take caution when setting up camp. The nearby boat access ramps and billabongs make it a great location to catch a fish and enjoy over the campfire at the end of the day.
