Out amongst the vast openness of the outback it’s hard not be mindblown by the sheer size, rich colour and magnificence that is Uluru. The nice Mala Walk around the base of Uluru to learn aboriginal rock art and the legends of the Anangu people. A guided walk to Mutitjulu Waterhole and a visit to Uluru and Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre to learn about Aboriginal culture. View the magnificent sunset over Uluru while sipping on sparking wine and enjoying a BBQ for dinner.

Visit John Flynn Memorial and the remains of the twin ghost gums made famous by painter Albert Namatjira. Enjoy morning tea at Standley Chasm. Stop at the Ochre Pits and visit Glen Helen Gorge. Lunch is a ploughman’s lunch including beer, wine or soft drinks. A visit to Ormiston Gorge where there is also the opportunity to have a swim is also included as well as guided walks into amazing Standley Chasm and Simpsons Gap.

Travelling through the West MacDonnell ranges we visit the Aboriginal community of Hermannsburg where we also delight in a ploughman’s lunch. This tour is on a 4×4 off road vehicle where we travel to Finke Gorge National Park to the pristine waters of Finke River. Walking up to Kalarranga Lookout for views over the Palm Valley. Witness the changing colours of West MacDonnells in the afternoon light. Please note that sturdy walking shoes and water is required for this tour.
