Marksies Stockmans Camp Tucker Night

Cultural and Theme Tours

Marksie’s Stockman’s Camp Tucker Night is a very unique dining and entertainment experience set in the tranquil surroundings of the Katherine Top Didj grounds ( 7kms from Post Office on the Gorge Road). Dine by the camp fire of a traditional Territory stock camp which includes many displays. Relax in comfortable seating and table arrangements under the clear, bright sky amid Northern Territory wildlife.

Step back in time 100 years for our Tribute to all the camp cooks, and enjoy a traditional camp oven meal cooked over a bed of hot coals, and flavoured with over 12 Bush Herbs spices fruits and foods. Served with a flash bush damper, gem scones and gum leaf billy tea – it will be an experience you will remember.

We use a variety of aboriginal herbs, spices, fruits and food in our unique menu. Billy spinning competition for the kids. Entertaining stories and hands on displays such as bush soap. We treat people like gold and fluff over them.
