Reel Screamin Barra Fishing
Things To Do Darwin, Darwin, Northern Territory
Always wanted to get to the Top End to find a barra! With over 18 years of experience, we have been offering a range of charters including half-day, full-day, extended and customised charters.
You can chase metre barra in the runoff or buildup in one of the coastal creeks or river mouths. Extended charters run through the runoff, giving you the best opportunity on the water without wasting precious fishing time. During the buildup, we run both day and extended charters.
During the dry season, you can get out on the billabong to troll or cast the lilies as you watch the scenery as you go by. You will see crocodiles sunning themselves on the banks and cruising the water, various birds, and the odd buffalo or dingo.
The wet season can offer good fishing as well in between the monsoons. The storms generally early in the morning and after 3 pm gives you plenty of time to get out and chase a barra.
Whether you are a seasoned angler or just want to tick off catching a barra off your bucket list, your guide will help you learn how to cast or give you some tips on what works up here. Our small group charters (Up to 4 per boat) ensure you get one on one tuition and advice throughout the day.
