Depart your hotel or campsite with your interpreter and Local Anangu guide employed from Mutitjulu community. You may have one of the traditional owners their children or
grandchildren, an ancient Nankari (healer) or one of the many magnificent artists or elders that are residing at the base of Uluru within UKTNP. See the marks left in the landscape while you share traditional stories of battles, celebrations, crime and punishment, all passed down to your local guide, as part of an oral culture since time began. Develop an understanding for life in the desert learning traditional food gathering, bush medicine and hunting methods. Learn ancient tool making techniques. Visit the cultural centre and explore the local art galleries, perhaps even discover some paintings or punu (wood) work created by your own personal guide. Finally relax with an icy cool drink and some nibbles as the setting sun lights up Uluru and the surrounding desert plains. Please note as respect for the local Mutitjulu community whose artists and guides work closely with the business. No alcohol is served on the tours within UKTNP. On occasions cultural responsibilities may prevent the attendance of a local Mutitjulu guide.

Quite possibly the unsung hero of central Australia this incredible vista is not to be missed. Arriving in time for a light damper a billy tea breakfast. Scaling the towering kings canyon enjoy the vistas across Watarrka National park. It is as if you are in a helicopter. Your guide will take you on a journey through the multitude of landscapes, the canyon rim, petrified sand dunes, the lost city, fossils from some of the earliest life forms, discussing plants animals and explaining where the water is hidden. Sit at Cotterals lookout and meditate on central Australias beauty. Marvel at the prehistoric ocean floors frozen in time, and descend into the garden of Eden, where ancient cycads are just one of over 600 plant species within the park. Visually spectacular, emotionally breathtaking. Relax with lunch at Kings Creek station, famous for their camel burgers, great coffee and outback hospitality. Returning home travel through angus Downs station. Birth place of malpa wiru( good friend) and traditional owner Bob Randal, share his story and hopes for the future. Returning to your hotel in time for dinner.

An early pre dawn start has you entering the park as soon as it opens for a drive out to the immense domes of Kata Tjuta. Beginning your walk in the pre dawn twilight watch the sun’s rays strike and bring to life the colours of red conglomerate rock. Enjoy an outback continental breakfast by an ancient creek bed, surrounded by river red gums, singing birds and if you are quiet even some rock wallabies may be spotted quietly, basking in the morning sun before they shelter for the day. Continue your walk along the creek bed enjoying the incredible photo opportunities provided by the morning light. Climb out of the shadows to the Karingana (bush mint) lookout, the true size and majesty of Kata Tjuta can be realised. Descending the rocky track circle around the back of the domes through the mulga valley to re-join the creek bed. Upon your return pause, climbing a sand dune viewing area where you can see Kata Tjuta as well as mountain peaks in Western Australia and South Australia all at the same time.

DAY 1.
Depart Alice Springs early from your accomodation in one of our luxury coaches.
Travel through the Red Centre stopping to view the magnificent salt lakes and Mt Conner (Artilla)
Visit the Uluru Cultural Centre and art galleries
Experience Uluru and its Tjurukpa (Ancient Stories) with your Indigenous language guide and interpreter.
Relax and watch the colours of Uluru change as the sun sets.
Dine by a campfire and listen to ancient stories of the night sky.

DAY 2.
Watch the sun Rise over Uluru and Kata Tjuta.
Experience the magical Valley of the Winds walk with your accredited tour guide.
Journey between the ancient domes walking within Walpa Gorge.
Return to Alice Springs stopping to meet and feed native fauna. Enjoy the sun setting over the outback landscape and the West Macdonnell ranges.
