Kakadu Bird Week 2020

Classes, Lessons, Workshops and Talks

26 Sep 2020 to 3 Oct 2020

As a result of the constantly evolving COVID-19 situation, Kakadu National Park will be closed until 11.59 pm 18 June 2020.

Parks Australia will continue to enable access to Kakadu National Park for residents of the park and surrounding Aboriginal communities, essential services, and those working in the community.

Kakadu is a bird lover’s paradise – home to more than a third of Australia’s bird species.

This September/October, join traditional owners, Parks Australia and local birding specialists to celebrate the Top End’s diverse birdlife during Kakadu Bird Week.

Kakadu was voted number one in bird watching destinations in Australia by Australian Geographic. Here’s your chance to engage in free bird activities, join expert-guided tours, cruises and special offers!

Join us in 2020 for an extraordinary bird-filled week of events. See what happened in 2019 on our website at kakadu.com.au/birdweek
