Just a 15 minute trip across Darwin Harbour, Mandorah & the Cox Peninsula offer pristine beaches, wetlands, birdlife and WWII historic sites.
A 2.5 hour cruise takes you to the Tiwi Islands where you can experience unique Aboriginal culture and history, visit the museum, art centres and more, with the famous Tiwi art adorning community buildings. Private cultural tours and art workshops available.

The Mandorah Ferry connects Darwin with the Cox Peninsula communities of Wagait Beach and Belyuen.
SeaLink NT operates the ferry service from Cullen Bay up to 14 times a day, 365 days a year.
The Cox Peninsula boasts secluded beaches, freshwater wetlands, WWII historic sites and the friendly, local Cox Country Club.
The Cox Country Club is open for dinner Thursday-Sunday and lunch on weekends. A free courtesy shuttle operates from the Mandorah Jetty – phone 0459 053 522
Take the 2.5 hour SeaLink ferry from Darwin and spend a day on the Tiwi Islands. Visit art centres, the Culture Museum, the Catholic Mission Precinct. Meet the friendly Tiwi’s in the community of Wurrumiyanga on Bathurst Island.
You do not need a permit to visit the community Wurrumiyanga.
