Dayspring

This is a hosted stay through Hipcamp, below is the information provided by the Host regarding their offering.

“Dayspring” has 2 secluded, absolute Albert River frontage camp sites for group bookings (or you can have them to yourself!)  Each one is a private site and large enough for 5 vehicles. Our farm is  in the picturesque Scenic Rim Shire. The sites are turfed and mowed so you can just laze on the grass and listen to the crystal clear rapids. At night you will be serenaded by frog calls. Enjoy great swimming holes in a truly beautiful part of Australia! We are just a few miles down stream from Darlington Park.  One of the greatest attractions is the amazing night sky.  Because the fire pit area is down near the rapids, the high river bank blocks out the city’s lights and glow. It is common to see more than one shooting star in a night.  A good time to view the night sky is a week either side of the new moon.  If you find out  (Google) when the ISS is going overhead and get to view it, you will be in awe, as we have been. A week or so up to a full moon is ideal for gatherings.
