Granite Cascades

Granite Cascades is a nature retreat in a beautiful area on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland in the headwaters of the Mary River, 5kms from Crystal Waters Ecovillage (They host movies, markets, music nights, yoga, artisan bakery and cafe). Granite Cascades offer beautiful creekside private camping on a total of 160 acres which is a Nature Refuge and protected area. We are at the end of dirt road so you feel you are in the middle of a wilderness.
There is a mixture of eucalypt forests and rainforests in the headwaters of the Mary river. The creek is inviting to explore with swimming pools to cool down. The forest here is diverse, from subtropical rainforest to open eucalypt forest. I am an artist and manage my property for its ecological value. I love to share my love of this special place with others. Guided nature walks can be also arranged.
