Hotel Corones Charleville

The Hotel Corones is the most famous historic landmark in Charleville. It is one of the few masonry buildings built in the 1920’s and represents the social and economic fabric of those prosperous and pioneering days.

The hotel was the focal point for a bustling 1930’s economy, welcoming many famous people, aviators and royal family, and represents a major part of the towns historic rise to prominence at that time.

The magnificent building with its broad footprint in the centre of town is a working museum to the towns past. When constructed the now heritage listed hotel boasted the longest bar in the southern hemisphere, tick this one off your bucket list.

The Hotel boasts 50 rooms ranging from clean comfortable first floor rooms with en suites and newly refurnished ground level motel rooms.

The recently refurnished dining room, prides itself on great value for money meals.
