Platypus Park sits right along the stunning Burnett River surrounded by beautifully kept lawns, lush gardens, native bush, a winding creek and abundant wildlife.

Accommodation in our well-appointed Villa is available as well as our multiple camping sites along with the riverside and creekside areas. The villa accommodates up to 7 guests comfortably with 2 bedrooms sleeping 5 and a double sofa in the lounge room.

Platypus Park Riverside Retreat has many areas where you can sit overlooking the river where you can enjoy the sunsets awaiting a sighting of our resident Platypus.

Platypus Park is a short drive from Bundaberg and perfect for corporate and personal events with ample parking for cars and buses.

Their own personal boat ramp is for their boaties that would like to do some water skiing or just try their luck at catching one of the many fish species that are waiting in the freshwater of the Burnett River.

There are many sites to see within 30 minutes of Platypus Park. The Bundaberg Rum Distillery, The Great Barrier Reef tours and the famous Mon Repo Turtle Rookery are to name a few.

Platypus Park is an easy 20 minute drive from the city of Bundaberg or a 10 minute drive from the town of South Kolan.
