If you’re an animal lover then you have found the right camp. Welcome to The Horse Garage! This property offers a lovely peaceful lifestyle, close to the township but far enough away to be private. We’re so lucky to be blessed with a gorgeous bush setting and we’d like to share it with you. This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water supply. There is access to wifi. Your dog is welcome to camp with you. If you’re up for a bushwalk you can visit Mount Cook National Park. At 431m above sea level, Mount Cook provides a scenic backdrop to Cooktown. The National Park has a mix of rainforest and tropical woodlands. Trevathan Falls are also a must-see. Your hosts love horses, dogs, good music and healthy food and are fluent in German, French and Italian with a little sprinkle of Spanish.
