Overlooking the Brisbane River, with expansive views of the Story Bridge, Adderton—renamed in 1863 as the Convent of Our Lady of Mercy, All Hallows’—has been at the heart of the Sisters of Mercy’s work in Brisbane since 1863.
The rejuvenated Adderton: house and heart of mercy is a space for the community, focused on creativity, engagement, justice, learning and reflection.
Through the Adderton initiative, the former All Hallows’ Convent opens its doors again, offering an exciting range of exhibitions and activities for visitors of all ages and from all walks of life.
