The SS Yongala Wreck is one of Australia’s best dive sites! The Yongala Wreck is a national historical wreck that lies within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. The wreck begins at 16 m below the surface and sits on a sandy bottom at 30 m. The artefacts, marine life and variety of corals that cover the wreck are spectacular. This is a must-do dive for all certified divers!

Or visit the pristine Reefs located on the Central Section of the Great Barrier Reef with their friendly and professional crew. Both snorkelers and divers will be exhilarated witnessing the spectacular marine life that the reefs have to offer whilst being immersed in tropical crystal clear water.

As the first of its kind in the Southern hemisphere, MOUA will act to highlight reef conservation, restoration, and education on a global scale. The site located on John Brewer Reef is rich in history, with a strong connection to the indigenous culture and marine tourism.

The S.S. Yongala sank during a cyclone in 1911 with the loss of more than 120 souls. It frequently rates as one of the ten best dives in the world. The wreck begins 16 metres below the surface and extends to a depth to 30 metres.

The Yongala is most famous for the abundant marine life. It is often said that you will see more marine life on one dive on the Yongala Wreck than you will on half a dozen dives on the reef. The wreck is covered in hard and soft corals. During the winter months, the calls of the migrating whales can be heard and occasionally seen around the wreck.

The Yongala Wreck is a ‘must do’ on your list of dive sites in Australia.

Experience a 4 hours Scenic Whale Watching and Wildlife Tour on board our custom-built vessels, MV Endorphin or MV Adrenalin for small groups and close-ups to these gentle giants.

During the cooler months (July-September), Townsville North Queensland marks a pit stop on the annual migration route of the Humpback Highway. Around 7000 humpback whales choose to rest and play with their new calves in the crystal blue waters off the coast of Queensland.

We start our Scenic Whale Watching and Wildlife Tour towards the Cape Cleveland Light which is an active heritage-listed lighthouse located on the northern tip of Cape Cleveland. The lighthouse marks the northern point of the Cape, and the entrance to Cleveland Bay and was in built February 1878.

All while you watch enough whales to leave your whale-loving heart a flutter! With a water level viewing deck, you can truly feel like you’re up close and personal with these ultimate ocean creatures – all on the whale’s terms of course! Tail slapping, pectoral fin waves and sometimes – full breaching is all just an added bonus during whale season.

You can board the vessel from either Townsville or Magnetic Island!
