Bamboo Land Nursery and Parklands

Parks and Gardens

Bamboo Land is a well established bamboo, ginger and heliconia specialised nursery featuring a collection of the world’s finest non-invasive bamboos. All varieties are growing for display on their 50 acre property with 10 acres of landscaped tropical parklands. Exploring the gardens is an enjoyable experience for the whole family – the kids are sure to run around the maze of tracks whilst the parents soak up the atmosphere and gather ideas for their garden. Admission to Bamboo Land is free.

All the plants growing in the gardens are available to buy in the nursery. There you will also find a giftshop selling all sorts of unique and unusual furniture and garden ornaments. Espresso coffees, cold drinks and ice creams are available to purchase, or bring a picnic to enjoy in any of the tranquil picnic spots amongst the gardens or along the river.
