Bay Islands Art and Scenic Tours

Adventure and Outdoors Tours

Their boutique tours are designed for small groups up to nine people to provide a personalised experience. They will take you around the islands to enjoy the beautiful coastline and scenic views. You will see a variety of ecological habitats including tidal mudflats and mangroves, coastal eucalypt forest, melaleuca wetlands and subtropical rainforest.

They will discover bush tucker (edible plants) and see a wide variety of birdlife. You may spot turtles, dolphins and even dugongs in the bay, and observe the tidal changes. They will see historical artefacts and learn some of the history of the islands, taking in the islands’ quirky houses and gardens along the way. They will also be checking out the local art and craft studios where you will meet the artists and crafts people, see some of their unique creations and hear about their inspirations. Each of the islands is different and has its own energy and vibe.

A morning tea and afternoon tea/lunch will be provided; and to round off the day, you will participate in a short workshop using copper. You will learn how to create a beautiful embossed copper leaf to take home with you as a memento of the day.
Transport on the islands is a mix of driving and walking in small sections not more than three kilometres in total.
