Bushwacker Eco Tours also offers an amazing look into World Heritage K’gari (formerly known as Fraser Island) with a small group nature tour. This truly spectacular Island takes you to what many regard as the two most beautiful walks in the world – Lake McKenzie – Central Station Rainforest, and Lake Wabby moving Sand Dunes.

Bushwacker Eco Tours offer a range of one, two and three day packages, and their two day K’gari Fraser Island Adventure is one of the cheapest K’gari Tours from Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Surfers Paradise. Fraser Island tours from Byron Bay, Rainbow Beach and Noosa depart daily.

Bushwacker Eco Tours offer trips to K’gari (formerly known as Fraser Island) leaving from Surfers Paradise, Brisbane, Noosa and Rainbow Beach.

Tour includes a two day four wheel drive K’gari Tour with guide, Island campsite (all gear included), meals on the island, and pickup and return from Brisbane.

Moreton Island is the World’s third largest sand island of which 98 per cent is a protected National Park. With no sealed roads, four wheel drive is the only mode of transport!

Travelling by four wheel drive along Middle Road, you pass through thick eucalypt forest, featuring beautiful Xanthorrhoea (Grass Trees) up to 250 years old on your way to The Desert, the home of sand boarding.

Sand boarding is awesome fun, high speed and speeds of up to 50 kilometres per hour can be reached. From beginners, young children and families, to the most adventurous adrenalin junkie, The Desert is the perfect place to learn, or fine tune, your sand boarding skills. This open sand dune is shaped every day by winds that form the perfect wave. Make sure you bring your camera to get plenty of impressive shots!

After lunch, enjoy a guided snorkel around the Tangalooma Shipwrecks. With 15 shipwrecks located just 50 metres off the beach, the Tangalooma Shipwrecks are home to one of Queensland’s most diverse marine eco systems. See a huge range of marine life including Butterbrim, blue and orange banded Parrotfish, Big Eye Trevally, Wobbegong, Blue-Tang Surgeonfish (Dory) and Clown Fish (Nemo)!
