Situated on the perimeter of the Caboolture Airfield, the Caboolture Warplane and Flight Heritage Museum features a large range of aviation memorabilia which provides visitors with the opportunity to learn about the history of both military and civil aviation over the years. There are always a variety of lovingly restored warbirds hangared within the museum and these aircraft often can often be seen taking to the skies in the local area.
The museum is open each day from 9am to 3pm and included in the items on display are an Iroquis (Huey) helicopter and an F111 Crew Escape Module. They also operate as a booking agency for both Warbird Adventure Flights and Scenic Flights in a Cessna 172.
Group visits (by prior arrangement) are welcome and museum volunteers are always on hand to provide an informative guided tour around the exhibits.
