Aboriginal Art Connections
Things To Do Palm Cove, Cairns, Queensland
Taking you to the soul of Aboriginal Art.
If you’re interested in Aboriginal art, learning about and meeting the artists and experiencing their cultures and the environments that inspire their work can help broaden your appreciation and understanding of the pieces you admire. Aboriginal Art Connections can help you connect with the source and emotion behind the work.
Their tailor-made, fully escorted tours explore the Aboriginal art world of the Northern Territory, South Australia and Western Australia, through the Kimberley visiting remote communities and art centres, promising a rich cultural experience.
Travelling by air and four-wheel drive vehicles, you will gain an insight into the landscape, colours and beauty that has inspired artists for thousands of years. They can arrange visits to significant natural attractions along with pre-arranged visits to Aboriginal art centres that are community-managed, ethically representing the artists from the local community and surrounding outstations.
They’ll work with you to create the perfect itinerary and arrange transfers, charter aircraft, accommodation, meals and the necessary permits to visit Aboriginal lands. Art Centres will ship any purchases direct to you so there’s no need to carry art if you prefer not to.
Aboriginal Art Connections is owned and operated by Tracey Vince and Bill Zammit, both with many years of experience in remote Australia and great contacts in the industry.
