Mangroves, salt marsh, forests of paperbark part of the melaleuca genus, casuarina woodland, wet and dry eucalypt forests through to rainforest. You can watch and hear many different types of birds, as well as a variety of crabs, butterflies and other animals that make the wetlands their home.
The secrets of the majestic Maroochy are revealed in sharing the beauty and serenity in Mother Nature as well as the ancient and recent local history of this mesmerising waterway in an entertaining commentary and visual magnificence of the surrounds.

Boarding the cruising catamaran is easy for all ages.
The jetty is floating so access is always via a smooth walkway and ramp. There is wheelchair access too.
Set sail with Devonshire Tea/Coffee and an option for gluten-free too.
Heading north along the magic Maroochy toward The Wetland Sanctuary, they go under the Bli Bli Bridge. Alighting at the Wetlands, you will see the Fiddler Crab which is an amazing little crab with one big orange claw. The walk starts off in the mangroves with many varieties of flora and fauna. There you will see a renovated cane cutters shack that has become the information hub of the Wetlands. With multiple sensory displays set up, showing the inhabitants and flora of this world-class habitat that will not be destroyed.
Back to the “Maroochy’ for a delicious barbecue, steaks cooked to your liking, chicken tenders, Italian sausages.
Fresh bakers rolls and salads are all made from local produce.
Cruising further north around the Wetland Islands is a serene and peaceful backdrop to enjoying your lunch.
