Flinders Discovery Centre

Galleries, Museums and Collections

The Flinders Discovery Centre has interpretive displays on local landscapes, history and culture. The Centre is also home to “Hughie” who is a life size skeletal replica of a Muttaburrasaurus which is Queenslands State Fossil Emblem and a range of fossils found in the region. The Centre is also engaging for young children with interative dinosaur orientated activities.

With an extensive range of destination brochures and local information sheets, the information centre should be your first port of call for your visit to ensure your maximise your experience in the region.

The Flinders Discovery Centre also has a vast range of souvieners, maps and books for sale. This attraction is also wheel cahair and pet friendly.
