The Frankland islands are located further south of cairns than Fitzroy and Green Islands and easily within reach of Mission Beach, Innisfail and Tully. Bus pick ups are available from Cairns and the Northern Beaches.

Enjoy the drive past rainforest clad mountain ranges and open fields of sugar cane, then take in the scenery on the 30 minute Mulgrave River cruise while you travel on board the luxurious air-conditioned vessel. Travel a short open water crossing to Frankland Group National Park where you can literally snorkel straight from the beach across a wide variety of colourful coral and a vast array of tropical fish. Follow giant turtles as they glide through the water.
If you prefer you can view spectacular coral from the comfort of the semi-submersible while crew talk you through the amazing array of fish and coral. You can also explore the island at your leisure or join a guided tour and explore rock pools full of life with their marine biologist.
