Gil Weir

Gil weir is located on Dogwood Creek just five kilometres south of Miles town. It is a lovely place to stop and let the world go past, also suitable for small vessels and paddle craft.

Accommodation is available at the free camp situated at the weir or at the hotels in Miles. The facilities at the weir include toilets, wood fired barbeques and picnic tables. Dogs are allowed at the free camp, but must be kept on lead at all times.
