Your driver and guide is Val, a Brisbane local with an extensive knowledge of the region’s history and attractions. Val is also the owner and operator of Mr Day Tours, and is the principle driver. They offer seven half day tours and three full day tours. Itineraries are flexible and can be changed to suit your interests. The standard half day tour includes a one kilometre rainforest walk, two fabulous lookouts, cheese tasting, wine tasting at one of the premium wineries, and some time at the Gallery Walk.

On this tour we explore the beautiful bayside villages of Southern Moreton Bay which lie south of the mouth of the Brisbane River. On a clear day, the bay views are spectacular. The relaxed lifestyle and bay views are a world away from the city rush. Boating and sailing is a popular pastime in this area. Manly Harbour has over 3,000 wet berths and dry standings, making it the largest boat harbour in the Southern Hemisphere.
From Manly, we continue to Wellington Point for morning or afternoon tea in the parkland, and then to Cleveland, the commercial hub of the Southern Bay suburbs and home to Queensland’s oldest registered Hotel, the Old Lighthouse, and huge Moreton Bay Fig, Weeping Fig, and Banyan Fig trees.
