The Ultimate Experience. For those who want to utilise the Wilga for what it was designed for; take off with them from Maroochy River, then north to follow the beaches past Noosa and along the spectacular Great Sandy National Park to Double Island Point. You get a brilliant vantage of Rainbow Beach and the unique towering sand hills. Return to Sunshine Coast to touch down on Maroochy River.

The Maroochy River Seaplane Adventure is for those looking to sample historic flight, what it’s like to take off from the water, an amazing vantage point and the wonders of the coastline from Maroochy to Point Cartwright on the glorious Sunshine Coast in one affordable experience.
We take off from paradise at the Maroochy River, taking in the spray of warm waters, sweep along the coastline from the mouth of the Maroochy to Mooloolaba beach, circle over Point Cartright and return to Maroochydore.

The Big Beach Watch: This adventure takes in the entire Sunshine Coast from Noosa to Caloundra! Take off from Maroochy River, then bank slowly north past Mt Coolum and Mudjimba. Follow the beaches to Noosa Heads National Park, circle over Noosa Village and return along the beautiful coastline southward, all the way to Caloundra and the north end of Bribie Island and Pumicestone Passage Marine Park. Return to touch down on Maroochy River.

After a brief introduction to your flight, you’ll settle into the aircraft – an observation plane, where every seat guarantees an awe-inspiring view. Hold your breath as we taxi and take off from the water, sweeping out to the river mouth for a breathtaking perspective over the Sunshine Coast beaches.
As we gracefully pivot and make our way back to the Maroochy River, you’ll experience the tranquillity of a swan-like touchdown. This 5-minute flight, encompassing a 25-minute total adventure, will leave you grinning from ear to ear.
