For two full days guests can enjoy all of Moore Reef’s state-of-the-art facilities including snorkelling, glass bottom boat and semi-submersible tours, touch tank and fish feeding presentations as well as the only waterslide on the Great Barrier Reef! Optional extras include diving, SeaWalker helmet dives and helicopter tours.

As the day trippers depart and the sun starts to descend, a lucky few will experience the reef environment exclusively, whether relaxing on the sundeck with a drink and a three-course meal, star gazing the southern hemisphere sky, marvelling the glorious sunset and sunrise, or private snorkel and glass bottom boat tours.

Then tucked up in a deluxe swag at home in the heart of the ocean, gazing at the jewels of the night sky, with the sounds of temperate waters lapping and nocturnal creatures coming to life, guests slumber, basking in one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.

Sunlover Reef Cruises is now offering guests Sunlover by Starlight, a once in a lifetime overnight reef stay, at Moore Reef Pontoon located on the Great Barrier Reef, 26 nautical miles off the Cairns coast.

Moore Reef is an awe-inspiring underwater spectacle, teeming with brilliantly coloured corals and more than 10000 marine species. This is the destination for their day guests and for a lucky few, the chance to stay overnight in a swag, under a billion stars, camping with up to 18 other people on a stable 45 metre-long, 12 metre-wide wide pontoon.

An intimate, personalised experience with their crew hosts, it’s just the wonders of the night sky as you feel at home in the heart of the ocean, hearing sounds of temperate waters lapping, nocturnal creatures coming to life, while basking in warm Tropical North Queensland.

Guests enjoy two full days on the reef, plus all the exciting inclusions and dive options available. From 3.30pm until 11am the next day, this small group will experience the reef environment exclusively, from relaxing on the pontoon, star gazing the southern hemisphere sky, marvelling the glorious sunset and sunrise, or join in a private snorkel and glass bottom boat tour.
