Travel West Outback Tours have been operating fabulous tours for 26 years. Owner/operators, Graham and Deb pride themselves on operating well planned tours specialising in nature-based experiences, Australian history, especially Burke and Wills.
Travel West operate Four Wheel Drive Motel Accommodated Tag Along Tours to Birdsville, Innamincka and the Corner Country and another that takes in the Outback Way, Pilbara and Kimberley regions.

When there has been good rain in the western river systems, Travel West operates 2-Day Lake Eyre Experience packages from Brisbane.
Graham has a wealth of knowledge about the outback, having driven road trains through the Kimberley and Northern Territory. He is passionate about the outback and western river systems and provides excellent commentary on tours.
Deb’s worked in Inbound Tourism, for Sunlover Holidays and Tourism Queensland before joining Travel West. Deb’s attention to detail is evident in the smooth running of tours.

Join veteran Lake Eyre tour guide Graham Reid who has extensive knowledge of southwest Queensland having spent many years operating small group tours to Birdsville, Innamincka and around the Corner Country. One of his great passions is the western river systems. Visit the Birdsville and the iconic pub, before flying down over Lake Eyre to Port Augusta for your overnight stay. Added bonus is a scenic flight over Wilpena Pound, Flinders Ranges. This trip is so much more than just about seeing amazing Lake Eyre – it’s the journey and hearing how the water reaches the lake.

Have you ever wanted to drive to the top of Big Red sandhill? Test your driving skills in the Simpson Desert, learn about the history of the region, the river systems and relax as Graham and Deb take care of everything you will need on your fully motel accommodated four wheel drive self drive around the outback, taking in south-west Queensland, the Cooper Basin, South Australia and Sturt’s National Park, New South Wales.
Spend a night in Windorah, two nights in Birdsville, two nights at Innamincka and two nights at Tibooburra visiting Cameron Corner and the famous Burke and Wills Dig Tree along the way. You will be required to bring your own well maintained four wheel drive with reasonable ground clearance and a high/low transfer case. Extras to include are a second spare, a UHF radio and tyre gauge. Their escort vehicle is fitted with a first-aid kit, satellite phone and extra recovery gear. Pets not allowed and unsuitable for children.
Tour finishes in Tibooburra and from here you can travel south through Broken Hill, east to Bourke or north to Thargomindah, Eulo and Cunnamulla.
