Tropical Treks was established in 2013 by Naturalist and Bird Guide Steve Grainger, based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia

The Sunshine Coast and Brisbane North are superb birding destinations with over 300 species found within a diverse landscape of Sub-tropical rainforests, wetlands, mangroves and tall eucalypt forests. But it’s not just about the birds, we appreciate all wildlife.

The region includes the UNESCO Noosa Biosphere reserve, the Blackall Range, Conondale Range, Rainbow Beach and the Pumicestone Passage, Bribie Island, D’Aguilar Range, RAMSAR Toorbul wader roost, Moreton Bay

No long drives to get to birding locations, we are birding immediately from the time we meet you. Small groups of 6 persons enables you to maximise the birding effort with Steve.
