Immerse yourself in a landscape of fragrant pine plantations and eucalypt forests surrounding a string of paperbark-lined waterholes. A photographer’s dream, the tannins from the paperbarks have coloured the waterholes a golden-brown, creating striking reflections.
Lake Lenthall is in the heart of the forest and the National Bicentennial Trail passes right through.
Set up camp or park you van in the shade beside Wongi Waterhole and spend the morning birdwatching along the bank. Enjoy a picnic by the cool water or explore the tranquil waters by canoe.
