Wottaview Tours

Adventure and Outdoors Tours

Due to the impact of flooding from Cyclone Jasper we are currently closed. We are working hard to be back up and running soon and appreciate your patience and support during this time.

Wottaview tours operate day tours of Tropical North Queensland’s World Heritage from Wallaman Falls north to Josephine Falls and west to the Atherton Tablelands. They take you to the places the other tours don’t via the back roads and are the only tour company operating to the stunning Blencoe Falls.

Wottaview Tours also operates camping tours to the Gulf Savannah, taking the back roads whenever possible. From April to October, they use their three and four-day Gorges and Lava Tubes tour visiting the impressive Cobbold Gorge, Copperfield Gorge and Undara Lava Tubes. Wottaview Tours also conducts a two-day tour to the Chillagoe Caves all year round, weather depending on. All inland tours leave from the coast and travel through the world heritage rainforest with unforgettable stops along the way – with great scenic photographic opportunities and chances to swim at some waterfalls. Wottaview Tours offers cheaper tours using their deluxe dome swags. However, air-conditioned cabins can be booked on these tours. Two-day swag-only tours are also offered for Blencoe Falls, Wallaman Falls, Coachable Creek, Murray Falls, and South Johnstone Creek, with four and five-day Porcupine Gorge and Wairuna National Park tours.

We travel inland through the green paddocks of the coast and start to climb the Palmerston Highway which runs through Wooroonoonan National Park. Turning off the highway we travel the gravel K Tree road with overhanging rainforest and trees. A swimming opportunity at the South Jonhstone river crossing before we loop back through the enclosed road to the highway. Climbing the range to the Atherton Tablelands. We have too many locations to visit in one day but this helps us deal with the weather changes and keeps it fresh by changing locations.
