Art @ Portside

From the end of July to October, Portside Wharf will be a wonderland for creatives with the opening of a new interactive art installation, Art @ Portside, for free viewing from 10am to 2pm every Wednesday and weekends.

Art @ Portside, curated by the Kairos Project, will feature a vibrant line-up of more than 100 pieces of work by internationally renowned artists and photographers, which will rotate monthly to showcase new artwork for visitors to enjoy.

Live drawing and painting demonstrations will also be hosted weekly by one of the installation’s star-studded artists in residence, including Garry Dolan, Rob Rek (and freeflight macaw, Manco), and Aboriginal artist Louise Numina.

After exploring Art @ Portside, visitors can also indulge in a quick bite or fine dining at one of the award-winning venues, including Byblos Bar and Restaurant, Sono, Bamboo Basket, Ginga Sushi, Gusto da Gianni’s and much more by the river.
