10 Sep 2021 to 12 Sep 2021 Annual Event
The Bilby Festival is held annually on and around National Bilby Day on the second Sunday of September to raise awareness and funds for our endangered furry little friends.
This year Murweh Shire Council will be hosting their Bilby Festival over three days.
Friday night will see an outdoor movie in Town Hall Park screening Sir David Attenborough: A Life On Our Planet to rediscover how to be a part of nature in order to avoid mass extinction of not only the bilbies but planet earth itself.
Saturday will be Bilby Open Day with free entry to the Charleville Bilby Experience.
We will close out the Bilby Festival with a Bilby Brunch in the park with food, drinks, giant lawn games, and a bilby-themed scavenger hunt!
Much like most events last year, they had to cancel their 2020 Bilby Festival due to COVID-19 so this year they’re bringing it back, bigger and better than ever!
