Carve And Decorate A Wheel Thrown Vase

At this event, you will be given a wheel-thrown, dark clay cylindrical vase ( approx 20cm high) that has been painted with a thin layer of white clay. The vase will be the ideal hardness for you to carve your design into. On this full moon, you can carve and decorate your vase using a number of stencils, carving tools, underglazes and tissue transfers. The vase will then be biscuit fired, glazed and then will have its second firing. Your vase will be ready to collect in approximately 2 -3 weeks.
