Crankworx Cairns

Starting in 2022, Crankworx is bringing the ultimate experience in mountain biking to Cairns.

Crankworx Cairns will take place at Smithfield, hailed as the highest profile rainforest trail system in the world, the site of the 2017 World Champs, and the only place in the world where you can ride alongside two World Heritage areas.

The festival will give Crankworx athletes an additional fourth stop to compete at and share their talents with the world, expose mountain bike fans from around the world to this unique destination, and bring the ultimate experience in mountain biking to fans in Australia.

Crankworx Cairns will bring together elite competition, amateur and CWNEXT racing, Kidsworx events, and a vibrant expo and festival vibe to bring mountain bike and action sports fans together to experience Aussie hospitality at its finest.

Pro events will include Slopestyle, Downhill, Dual Slalom, Speed & Style, and Pump Track.
