6 Feb 2022 Once Only Event
You are alive, therefore you will die. This is the simplest, most obvious truth of your existence, yet very few of you have really come to terms with this fact. In modern society, death and dying are often shrouded in grief, confusion, and unhappiness, rather than being accepted as a normal part of life. Buddha gave extensive teachings on the death process, and on how to use awareness of your death to live a full and meaningful life. By developing a deeper understanding of the death process, you can approach your own and others’ deaths with a different perspective. Using Buddhist wisdom, discover how to protect yourself and help others at this defining moment of life. There will also be an opportunity to engage in a chanted meditation practice called ‘powa’ that you can use to help those who have recently died.
In-person $55 (includes vegetarian lunch)
