Leading Ladies

Female led arts organisations and businesses are some of the fastest growing domains in Australia’s cultural landscape. Join them for an evening of entertainment and empowerment on International Women’s Day 2023, highlighting the outstanding accomplishments of ladies who are leading in their sector on Redlands Coast and beyond.

Local powerhouse, Louise Rusan, will chat with guest speakers, unpacking some of their nuanced experiences as female leaders as they explore the capacity the arts have to catalyse change in the world we live in. The inspirational line-up of guest speakers includes: performer, producer, and theatre/festival director, Annie Peterson; indelabilityarts Program Manager, Georgina Bullock; writer, director and actor, Jan Nary; producer, director and proud Wiradyuri woman, Nicole Reilly; artist and community cultural development practitioner, Tricia Dobson; and artist and president of the Old Schoolhouse Gallery, Vicki Whalan.
