19 Mar 2021 to 9 Apr 2021 Once Only Event

Have you been watching a tonne of YouTube soaping videos and fallen down a few Pinterest rabbit holes? Do you think you might have the soaping bug? Then, this two-hour intensive (but fun) Brisbane workshop with Bayside Soap may be perfect for you!

In this beginner-friendly workshop, you will learn how to make four types of melt and pour soaps using popular techniques. You will make 10 bars in total, using different types of soap bases.

You will learn the following:
– Swirling
– Embedding
– Layering (rainbow soaps)
– How to use cavity moulds and loaf moulds
– How to use different types of colourants such as bio-glitter, neons, micas, oxides and lakes
– Embedding botanicals
– How to wrap and label your soaps

During the class, you will also learn helpful tips, tricks and common newbie mistakes to avoid! We have jammed as much as we can into this two-hour block, so please come well fed. We will have a small break towards the end for tea and coffee. No other food is provided (we won’t have time to eat!).
