16 Nov 2019
On Saturday 16 November 2019 Qantas will mark its 99th birthday. On this day the Queensland and Northern Territory Aerial Services Limited, QANTAS, was registered as a company in Brisbane. Qantas went on to set up operations and mail routes through Western Queensland and the Northern Territory. From these small beginnings, Qantas has grown into the major airline it is today.
Qantas Founders Museum is dedicated to telling the story of Qantas and we would like to invite you to join us to celebrate the birthday of Qantas with a morning tea in McGinness’ Restaurant at 10.00am on Saturday 16 November 2019. This event is free to attend.
To share in the celebrations of the day, Qantas Founders Museum will also provide FREE ENTRY TO OUR MUSEUM.
