A giant ‘unicorn seashell’ and full-size Morris Minor car will impress visitors at Portside Wharf as the riverside precinct comes alive this spring with 37 sculptures dotted along the waterfront and plaza.

‘Sculptures on the Wharf’ invites people to wander through a maze of eye-catching creations and marvel at the artistic prowess of some of Queensland’s most celebrated sculptors, including multi-media sculptor Perry Wagner-Grouse and Indigenous artist Colleen Lavender.

The family-friendly exhibition will officially launch with a grand opening by Sculptors Queensland in the exhibition space next to Deer Sir.

The outdoor sculptures will be on show through to November 30, with an indoor display also open on Saturdays and Tuesdays,

Make a day of your visit to Portside Wharf by dining at one of the award-winning restaurants, sipping cocktails along the waterfront or grabbing a quick bite or takeaway before catching a movie in the riverside precinct.
