The 2023 Shaw and Partners Financial Services Coolangatta Gold

The Shaw and Partners Financial Services Coolangatta Gold is one of the most challenging endurance races in surf sports. What began as the central theme for a motion picture more than 35 years ago, now commands a place on Australia’s annual calendar of prestigious sporting events. The mighty Shaw and Partners Financial Services Coolangatta Gold will be held on 14-15 October on Queensland’s Gold Coast.

The Shaw and Partners Financial Services Coolangatta Gold consist of 4 events over the weekend at Coolanagatta:

Short Course: Saturday, 14 October
Youth Challenge: Saturday, 14 October
Downwind Paddle: Saturday, 14 October
Long Course: Sunday, 15 October

The Shaw and Partners Financial Services Coolangatta Gold consists of a 21km Short Course run and a 41.8km Long Course race run. The multi-disciplinary course combines swimming, running, board paddling and surf skiing.

Once again in 2023, the event will see the inclusion of the Youth Challenge and will host a Downwind Paddle as part of the the Shaw and Partners Australian Ocean Racing Series for 2023.
