The Planting

Concert or Performance

3 May 2019 to 5 May 2019

The Planting is a cultural, environmental and culinary festival held over three days and nights at Woodfordia, Queensland.

With a diverse and interactive program involving workshops, masterclasses, talks and presentations and a full program of musical performances, ceremony and visual arts, The Planting focuses on sharing skills and knowledge.

Originally started as a working bee, The Planting has remained true to it’s roots and encourages patrons to participate in tree-planting activities to provide habitats for wildlife and shade, as well as opportunities to participate in large scale site projects involving artworks, speciality plantings and scientific survey and research.

Popular as a camping event, The Planting has a full cultural program encompassing music, film, comedy and an entire children’s program for the duration of the festival.
