The 2021 Water Polo Queensland State Titles is the premier water polo event in Queensland. This six-day event brings together the best athletes, coaches, referees and officials from across the State in 5 age divisions 12&U, 14&U, 16&U, 18&U and Opens to compete against each other for the prestigious title of State Champion. It is also a Talent Identification and Selection event for Squads that will be considered for National Championships that will be played later in the year.
Teams represent their Association or Club and the event is truly inclusive and gender-neutral catering for all levels of participants. The event also provides capacity building and upskilling opportunities for coaches, referees and officials with mentoring, assessments and coaching courses planned across the event.
This year the event is being held outside of Brisbane at Australia’s beautiful Gold Coast for the first time in over 5 years. Major Events Gold Coast is the event delivery partner for this event which has attracted a record 129 teams, almost 1700 participants, over 100 Coaches, 55 Referees, over 200 Table Officials, 20 Staff and event Officials and will see over 1800 spectators attend the event over the 6 day period. Over 350 games will be played and all Gold Medal matches for all age groups will be live-streamed through a partnership with NewsCorp.

Cost of entry for all event spectators is AUD3 per person. Event participants, officials and staff have free entry with an accreditation pass.
