Winton’s Way Out West Fest. returns in 2021 and will feature six huge days of entertainment in one of Queensland’s most iconic outback towns. The all-Australian lineup will include a mix of pop, rock, folk and country artists in seven venues during the school holidays.
The program kicks off with a special concert to salute the iconic Banjo Patterson poem and Australia’s unofficial national anthem, Waltzing Matlida. Just some of the artists appearing in this and other special concert events include The Bushwackers, Anne Kirkpatrick, Pete Denahy, The Travelling Country Band (Slim Dusty’s original backing band), Sara Storer, Chad Morgan, Jeff Brown, Dean Perrett, Tracey Costa and many more.
Over the weekend Winton will rock to a stella lineup that features some of Australia’s biggest artists such as Sheppard, Lee Kernaghan, Daryl Braithwaite, Busby Marou, Beccy Cole, Adam Harvey, The Wolfe Brothers and Casey Barnes.Special program highlights include a family bush dance with the iconic Bushwackers, Lights On The Hill (a tribute to the great Slim Dusty) Songs & Stories, and the screening of Slim & I, a feature film aboutJoy McKean who will also be in attendance. Purchase of a season ticket gives access to the full six days of entertainment and there are a number of camping options available.
