8th Sense Kitchen
Food and Drink Macleay Island, Redland, Queensland
8th Sense Kitchen brings a sense of joy! Tasty foods, community engagement, mindfulness and new flavour experiences for many.
It’s for all your senses, including taste.
A combination of deli style, gelato bar, picnic style shop. You can purchase your choice of flavours to take away, sit on the deck or the front garden where you can be absorbed in the view of the sea, watch the ferry come and go. The space is vibrant yet calming with a cool sea breeze.
Creative flavours, Fun flavours, Classic flavours, Exotic flavours; especially Local flavours!
Community engagement meets creative flair. Locals bring in fresh produce from their gardens and wait for the delicious products to be created! From “Ispahan gelato” (rose, lychee, raspberry from island lychees) to “Banoffee Danish” (made from Macleay lady fingers).
