A new café has opened at North Tivoli with colourful breakfast and lunch options and a German-leaning menu.
Elderflower Café owner Kerstin Harms and chef Max Vestermayer strive to create a welcoming and dog-friendly coffee spot for local families.
Their German-leaning menu extends to Tuesday burger specials, Wednesday pasta dishes and roasts on Fridays, along with all-day breakfast offerings and a separate children’s menu. They’re using Zentvelds Coffee grown and roasted in Northern NSW and the specialty Tielka Teas range from a company based in Agnes Waters.
Only the very best Queensland free-range eggs, poultry and meats are sourced for the menu and cakes and desserts are baked fresh onsite for the cabinet.
The café is tucked in beside North Tivoli Plant Nursery making this a nice option for plant-lovers. The café’s seating spills out to a leafy courtyard.
Follow the Elderflower Café Facebook page to see what the following day’s specials will be – They’re talking dishes such as a traditional Bavarian Pork Roast with crackling, potato
dumplings and a dark beer sauce.
Elderflower Café is open everyday.
