Marburg Hotel

Bars

You might have seen the sign on the Warrego Highway “There’s antiques down in Marburg” – but there’s also a classic Queenslander pub to be found at the heart of this country town.

The ‘Marburg Pub’ has been in the Bowden family since 1944, and after undergoing a makeover, you can enjoy hearty meals in the large dining area or on the all-weather outside dining deck leading out to the beer garden.

Weekend lunches have become particularly popular as the Marburg becomes better known as a day trip or country road trip destination, a little more than an hour from Brisbane. Within a short walk of the Hotel, you’ll find Scotland Yard Antiques and The Black Museum right across the street, the Soul Nook Collective in the old church and the historic Woodlands of Marburg across the highway.

The hotel caters for group bookings, bus tours, functions and special events with an access ramp and ample parking on site.
