Vintners Secret Vineyard, Cellar Door and Cafe

Vintner’s Secret Vineyard is an organic vineyard, cellar door and farm to be found two minutes from the heart of the charming historic town of Childers, Queensland.

Several grape varieties including Marsanne, Verdelho, Shiraz, Cabernet and Merlot are grown to produce dry and sweet reds, whites, reserves, blends, sparkling and fortified styles of wine.

Wine tastings and sales are available in an elegant cellar door with a gift shop and art gallery area from Wednesday to Sunday, from 10am to 4pm or at other times by telephoning to make an appointment.

The working farm has spacious gardens with sculpture, water features, rose beds and seating in dappled shade. A viewing deck takes in sweeping views of serene pastures and rolling hills. The garden contains courtyards and buildings for use by visitors. Interaction with a variety of hand raised domestic animals is available especially suited to children. A full art studio is also available.

Whispers Cafe offers specialist teas, barista coffee and light refreshments during regular opening times; French-Australian meals, picnic baskets, cheese platters and functions need to be booked ahead. Barbecue facilities are available for use.
